Orange Line - Bellaire/West U area

At this time, the Orange Line will be able to transport up to 50 students for the 2020-2021 school year.

1. Formerly Bed Bath and Beyond - Meyerland Plaza
   700 Meyerland Plaza, Houston, TX 77096

• Before School - Bus arrives between 6:30 and 6:45 am, depart 7:05 a.m.
• After School - Depart 3:45 pm (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), 3:30 pm (Fridays)
• No bus service on Wednesdays

2. Randalls - Buffalo Speedway & Holcombe
   3131 W. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77025

• Before School - Bus arrives between 6:30 and 6:45 am, depart 7:05 am
• After School - Depart 3:45 pm (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), 3:30 pm (Fridays)
• No bus service on Wednesdays

The stops are less than two miles apart and have a pick up and drop off time difference of less than seven minutes.

• Face masks required for all riders
• Temperature checks prior to boarding the bus - parent must stay until student is cleared
• Symptom and contact screening prior to boarding the bus
• Hand sanitizer provided to each rider upon boarding the bus
• Assigned seating for all students for required physical distancing
• All buses loaded to ensure physical distancing between riders not of the same household
• Increased ventilation while riding when weather permits
• Daily disinfecting after each route

COVID related refunds or credits will be evaluated, calculated, and potentially issued at the end of the academic year

Students who ride on SPX transportation are give a "fast track" entrance to the school! Since they've already had their temperatures scanned and completed their health screening questionnaires, they get to skip the entrance line and go straight into the building.

• $1,250 annual fee (plus $25 credit card transaction fee if paid online) per student, with a $500 deposit due at time of reservation.
• Rates are nonrefundable.
• All lines require at least 10 riders to make. If the minimum number of riders is not met, the line will not run for the 2020-2021 school year.

Online reservations are now being accepted for all three lines for the 2020-2021 school year. In order for the Black Line and Gray Line to run, there must be a minimum of 10 reservations per line. If there are not enough interested students in a line, it will be discontinued.

Reservations for the lines must be made prior to June 5, 2020, in order to determine if a line will operate. This time allows SPX to determine necessary equipment and staffing.
