Where Creativity Meets Conviction
At St. Pius X High School, our Fine Arts program is more than an elective – it’s a celebration of the creative spirit rooted in the Dominican Pillars of Study, Prayer, Community, and Preaching. Whether on stage, in the studio, or behind the lens, students are empowered to discover their talents, refine their skills, and express truth through artistic excellence.
From award-winning theatre productions and state-ranked visual art submissions to soulful band performances and spirited dance routines, the arts at SPX ignite imagination and inspire connection.
Fine Arts Programs
Veritas Theater → Three full productions per year, including One Act Play, musical, and student-directed showcase.
Visual Arts → Courses in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, digital media, and portfolio development.
Music → Veritas Cadets (Band/Color Guard), instrumental music, chorus and Liturgical Choir - open to all grade levels.
Dance Team → Pantherettes perform at athletics events, participate in national venues and compete across Texas.
Friends of Fine Arts
The Friends for Fine Arts is a dedicated parent group, committed to supporting and enhancing the Fine Arts programs at St. Pius X High School. Through fundraising, volunteerism and community-building, this group helps provide resources for students to thrive in theater, visual arts, music, and more.
By joining the Friends for Fine Arts, parents can play an integral role in nurturing the creative spirit and artistic talents of our students, ensuring that Fine Arts remains a vital part of the SPX experience.
