Our Volunteers Make a Difference!
Whether serving hamburgers at a concession stand, greeting prospective families at Open House or pinning costumes for the Spring Show, our volunteers make our many community events a success. No matter your interests, talents and or skill level, you can make a difference. All you need is a desire to help make SPX an even better place!

Every parent and guardian is a member of the St. Pius X Parent Association. We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers. This group not only provides hospitality for our school-wide events, it also builds community among our parents and guardians as they share their knowledge and talents, while serving on various committees.
More than 70% of SPX students are involved in at least one sport. The Booster Club is dedicated to providing financial support for these young student-athletes as they pursue their championship dreams.
Members of the Booster Club
- Work concession stands
- Host sports banquets
- Organize the annual Golf Classic
- Serve as SPX ambassadors, welcoming visiting teams and families at all sporting events
- And much more...
The Booster Club operates the Panther Den, a spirit store that sells SPX gear for Panther fans of all ages. The Panther Den is located in the Frost Cafeteria and is open on Fridays during lunch.
The Booster Club meets once a month at 6 p.m. in the Frost Cafeteria, learn more on the club's page.
The annual fund at St. Pius X is known as the SPX Fund, and it is led by parent volunteers. Current parents are organized into teams by grade level and homeroom, which encourages all parents to give to the annual fund. Whether they are manning the phones during the phon-a-thon, writing thank you notes to fellow parents or strategizing a blitz drive, these parents are working to make SPX a better place for all our students.
SPX Fund leaders serve from Aug. 1 to Dec. 31 each year and meet at random socials throughout the fall months.
There are many ways to volunteer at SPX. Parents of our Fine Arts students can be found chaperoning band trips, designing costumes for Theatre SPX productions or baking for the Beppo’s Bells, our handbell choir. Fine Arts, as well as club sponsors welcome volunteer support. Whatever your talents or interests—or your student’s—lead you, there is a place for you at SPX.
