The Leaders in Veritas Society was formed in the fall of 2012 to recognize those members of the St. Pius X High School community who, through their gifts to the SPX Fund, help provide a foundation for the long-term financial stability of the school. Every year, SPX hosts a celebration to honor its members.
Named in honor of the four pillars that exemplify our Dominican values, the Pillars Society was formed to honor St. Pius X High School donors who support the school annually at a level of $1,500 and up. Gifts from Pillars Society members support general operations, capital improvements, and the St. Pius X Foundation. Each Spring, SPX hosts a reception to honor these members.
The St. Pius X High School Foundation Gala is the only fundraiser for the SPX Foundation. The Foundation administers the school’s endowment and proceeds from the Gala go to managing and enhancing our endowment. The Foundation has supported capital campaigns as well. Over the 20+ year history of the Gala, the Foundation has contributed $4 million to St. Pius X High School.
The Gala brings together current and past parents, alumni, and friends for a formal evening of dancing, dining, and bidding on live and silent auction items.
The annual Raffle, which has been a St. Pius X tradition since 1957, is conducted each spring. It is led by the student Raffle Promotions Committee. Students earn holidays by reaching their sales quotas. All students are expected to reach their minimum quotas. The Raffle is the student equivalent of the SPX Fund. It too, helps to provide essential funding for general operations.

Raffle tickets can be purchased from any SPX student, faculty, or staff member.

Casino Night is a community-building and fundraising event sponsored by the Booster Club. More informal than the Gala, Casino Night is a fun evening shared by parent boosters, alumni, and friends of SPX. Proceeds from the event support the school’s athletic programs.
