Develop Leadership Through Service
The National Honor Society at St. Pius X High School help students put honor into action and learn leadership through experience. We maintain a large and active chapter of NHS where students run the group and serve the school. Learn more about NHS at its website.
Our NHS members develop a life-long foundation of honor through focus on
- Scholarship
- Leadership
- Character
- Service
Do you have what it takes to join us in NHS?
Challenge Yourself With Real Life Experience
Our NHS students grow into leadership roles by delivering results on an academic, community and a personal level. They give back through
- Organizing fundraisers
- Throwing dances
- Fulfilling service hours
- Running the largest academic rally for middle school students in Houston
Through it all, they learn that how you do something means as much as what you accomplish.
Put on the Middle School Academic Rally
The Middle School Academic Rally (MSAR) gives middle school students and our members a chance to shine. NHS members run this academic event from end to end to the benefit students throughout the city. Our students organize themselves into planning teams, they meet deadlines and write exams for each discipline, and then they run the classrooms and host the schools on the day of the rally.
