Dominican Veritas Ministries
Preserving Dominican Identity through Partnership and Formation
Since 2023, Dominican Veritas Ministries (DVM) serves as the canonical sponsor for St. Pius X High School. Founded by five U.S. Dominican Sister congregations – including the Dominican Sisters of Houston – DVM ensures our ministry remains aligned with Dominican values in prayer, study, community and preaching.
Through mission integration, governance and stewardship, DVM empowers schools to carry forward truths rooted in Gospel service and Dominican tradition.
Shared Mission
DVM educates in the tradition of the Order of Preachers, bringing together spiritual formation, academic excellence and justice-oriented service. Member congregations and trustee leaders collaborate to uphold this shared vision across all sponsored ministries.

How SPX Collaborates with DVM
- Spiritual Formation: DVM facilitates formation for administrators, faculty and board leaders to deepen Dominican charism at SPX. Programs include DELC Academy and other workshops.
- Governance & Oversight: DVM offers guidance and support to our board and leadership, ensuring mission-consistent policies and practices.
