St. Pius X High School Pantherette Dance Team is made up of dancers from all grade levels with different dance backgrounds. They are currently under the direction of Head Coach Jacque Villadiego. You can find the Pantherettes performing different styles such as Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. It is a year-long program that supports the SPX athletic teams, participates in dance competitions against numerous public and private schools around the Houston area, and performs in the annual Spring Show. You can also find the Pantherettes dancing at school-sponsored events like Open House, freshman orientation, annual gala, school Pep Rallies, and much more. If you are interested in trying out for the team, be on the lookout for interest clinics. Tryouts for the team are held in the Spring Semester!
