St. Joseph Scholarship

The St. Joseph Scholarship is offered to a qualified 8th grade student at St. John Paull II Catholic School who embodies the 4 pillars of Dominican education and has applied for admission to St. Pius X High School.

St. Joseph was chosen to be the provider and caregiver for the Holy Family. As the Patron Saint of Workers and Fathers, and as the first role model Jesus had, there is much we can learn from him. The Catholic church has long recognized the inherent dignity in work; using the gifts the Lord has given us to their very fullest is one of our prime responsibilities in life. 

This is a one-time $2,500 scholarship. To qualify, applicants must meet the criteria above and submit a 500 word essay detailing how St. Joseph is a role model in his or her daily life. Applicants will be selected by Administration based on criteria in their application submission.
