All students must complete summer reading and course-specific assignments before the start of the school year. This includes required reading for each grade level and AP coursework for transfer students.

Reading Assignments

St. Pius X High School partners with EdTech as our official online bookstore. This system is integrated with MySchoolApp and Amazon to create a seamless, customized experience for each student.

Key Features:

• Single sign-on access to all digital textbooks via MySchoolApp.

• Bookstore view personalized to each student’s schedule.

• Options to purchase print materials through Amazon.

• Buyback for print books in June.

• 24/7 access to eBooks on any device using SPX credentials.

Families may also purchase non-digital items elsewhere using the provided ISBN numbers.

Here is a basic supply list for all students. Teachers may request additional items for specific classes.

Suggested Supplies:

• Black, blue and red pens

• #2 pencils

• Notebook paper (for binders)

• Highlighters (assorted colors)

• Markers and colored pencils

• 3x5 notecards (100 minimum)

• Graph paper (¼”)

• Ruler

• TI-84+ calculator

• 5 spiral notebooks

• 4–5 1” three-ring binders with tabs

• 3 pocket folders

All students are assigned a school-issued device for academic use. Details on device distribution will be shared after the summer.

Please Note:
Personal phones and outside devices may not be used as a student’s primary academic device and are not permitted during school hours.

Acceptable Use Policy

All students receive a student planner at the start of the school year that includes a copy of the Student/Parent/Guardian Handbook.

It is also located in the MySchoolApp portal in the Resources tab.
