Mrs. Harris has over 20 years of teaching experience in
Christian schools. She has coached TAPPS academic teams for over 10 years
and has served as district and state meet director. She is also a
certified Irlen screener. Irlen Syndrome is a visual perception problem
affecting 15% of the population. Some of the symptoms including headaches
from reading, getting tired from reading, preferring to read in dim light,
and not understanding/remembering what is read. Contact her at school if
you want more information. Her philosophy is that math ability is a gift
from God. Every student can learn math to some degree, even if it isn't a
favorite subject. Her interests include gardening,
music (especially handbells), sports (as a spectator!) and antiquing.
