Dear Parents/Guardians and Prospective Students:

I am pleased you are considering applying for admission to St. Pius X High School.   SPX is more than a private school; it is a community of learning in which Christian love and respect are displayed by faculty and students.  We are very proud of our “family feeling,” outstanding curriculum, fine faculty, and most of all, an exceptional student body. 

Admission to St. Pius X High School is based on a student’s entire application, which includes the Student Information form, Personal Inquiry form, an essay, current school records, teacher recommendations, and entrance test scores. Applicants with incomplete files will not be considered for admission and may be unable to gain a place at a later date.

Complete and send Basic Student Information form and Personal Inquiry form with $35 to SPX by February 1, 2008.      

Submit evaluation forms to current school immediately upon receipt of this application.  These are to be completed by the principal/counselor and a math teacher and English teacher. 

Submit the Authorization to Release form to your current school immediately.

Two letters of recommendation (family friend,  pastor, coach) are required for transfer students.

Evening interviews and registration take place at SPX  for incoming 9th grade students and parents.  Transfer students are interviewed prior to acceptance by appointment with the Admissions Director.

Contact the Business Office after December 1, 2007 for financial aid information. Deadline for a Financial Aid Application is February 1, 2008.  ST. PIUS X MUST BE THE FIRST CHOICE SCHOOL TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID. ($15 processing fee)
