Founded in 1956 by the Dominican Sisters of Houston, St. Pius X High School is a co-educational, Catholic college preparatory school serving students from 130 zip codes throughout metropolitan Houston and reflecting diversity, not only of the city but the globe, as students from more than a dozen nations seek a high school education at St. Pius X.

SPX Concert Chorale and Campus Singers Perform Well in District, Move on to State

Mixed Chorus Sacred Ensemble, under the Direction of Senior Choirmaster Patrick W. Spedale, earned an Excellent Rating of II. Treble Chorus Sacred Ensemble, under the direction of Choirmaster Paul Jurick, earned sweepstakes with an overall Superior Rating of I and will advance to the TAPPS state contest in April. Several SPX students also will compete at the state competition next month!

Second-year head coach Larry Monks says interest in the St. Pius X Rugby Football Club is at an all-time high, with more than 40 players in the program.
